Dr. Rajesh Bariker is the founder of Kids Tooth Dubai and KidsDentist® in Bengaluru. A Specialist Pediatric Dentist with more than 11 years of experience, he is dedicated exclusively to the oral health of infants, children and adolescents.
He holds a Master of Dental Surgery in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, completed in 2015. His clinical interests include severe early childhood caries, comprehensive dental rehabilitation, dental anxiety, childhood dental trauma, aesthetic pediatric dentistry, interceptive orthodontics and dental care for children with special healthcare needs.
Dr. Bariker believes that children are not simply smaller adults. Their dental care requires specialist clinical knowledge, age-appropriate communication and a genuine understanding of their emotions.
His approach begins by helping each child feel safe and understood. Treatment is introduced gradually, with clear explanations for parents and behaviour guidance adapted to the child’s age, temperament and previous dental experiences. Nitrous oxide inhalation sedation may also be considered when clinically appropriate for children who need additional support during treatment.
The objective is not only to complete a procedure successfully, but also to protect the child’s confidence and build a healthier long-term relationship with dental care.
A significant part of Dr. Bariker’s work has involved the rehabilitation of young children affected by severe early childhood caries. These cases often require careful diagnosis, phased treatment planning, restorative expertise and close collaboration with parents.

Since 2016, Dr. Bariker has been involved in the dental care and oral-health education of children affected by Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva—commonly known as FOP.
FOP is an ultra-rare condition in which dental treatment must be planned with exceptional care to minimise trauma, muscle fatigue and the risk associated with certain invasive procedures. Dr. Bariker’s work in this field focuses on prevention, conservative treatment and carefully modified clinical protocols.
In 2021, he co-authored the peer-reviewed case report, “Chairside endodontic management of a child with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.” The publication documented practical modifications for safely providing chairside dental care to a young child with FOP.
He has subsequently contributed to international FOP family and professional forums, including educational initiatives with the International Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva Association and FOP Friends UK. His continuing work aims to make reliable oral-health guidance more accessible to individuals with FOP, their families and the clinicians supporting them.
Dr. Bariker’s clinical work has received multiple first-place recognitions at the Aesthetic Dentistry MENA Awards. Awarded cases have included primary zirconia crowns, aesthetic rehabilitation of permanent anterior teeth and the management of premature anterior tooth loss using a fixed appliance.
Across the Bengaluru and Dubai practices, the team received seven clinical recognitions during 2024–2025. Kids Tooth Dubai was also named a finalist in the Clinic Excellence – Dental Practice category in 2025.

In 2016, Dr. Bariker co-founded KidsDentist® in Bengaluru with Payodhi Bariker. What began as one independently built pediatric dental centre grew into three exclusive children’s dental practices across Bengaluru.
The guiding philosophy remained consistent: specialist care, transparent communication, ethical treatment planning and an environment in which children feel respected rather than overwhelmed.
